cet aprem j'attaque une petite map d'assault




tiens SLD si tu passes par là , tu pourras me dire comment passer les vieilles maps en 1.1

Well the problem with the maps are not the Server, Its a issue with BCV. You need to modify the maps menu/init.con to reflect BFV

load the map up in BCV (BattleCraft Vietnam - Located on your retail CD)

go to Tools >> Archive file editor

Then look for this
ofcourse where it says battleaxe_vietnam will be the name of the map you have loaded



Click Open

@ the bottom you will see where it says

game.setMapId "XPack2"

Change to

game.setMapId "BfVietnam"

Click Save then follow the directions that BCV gives you so that the map will keep the con settings and upload the fixed map to the linux server and it should work. Im not sure if maps that dont have the updated init.con will work or not. I also had to stop the server and restart it so it would change to the custom map.

Server admins can fix this and the old maps with the XPack2 insert CAN Still join
